Meet Health Office Staff

Hi!  My name is Liz and I am the Licensed School Nurse at Focus Beyond Transitional Services.  I have been a Registered Nurse and Public Health Nurse for 30 years and a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a certificate in Special Health Care needs for 20 of those years.  I have practiced in the Pediatric ICU, Emergency Medicine and in private practice in a Primary Care Clinic.  I have been with Saint Paul Public Schools since 2020 working at  Focus Beyond as the license school nurse. My specialties include working with teenagers, special health care needs and mental health.

I live in Minneapolis with my family.  I enjoy yoga, going to the gym, working in my garden and spending time with friends and family.  I truly love working with all the students and their families. As a school nurse, I am dedicated to protecting the health and safety of students and enhancing the educational process by addressing health related barriers to learning.
